Season an 8 oz salmon filet/person with 1/2 tsp smoked paprika and kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper and set aside for up to an hour until ready to cook.
Heat 2 tbsp butter in a medium sized skillet over medium high heat. Swirl until the butter turns a deep brown color, about 6-8 minutes. The butter will foam throughout.
Remove pan from heat and add 2 cloves grated garlic and stir for one minute, or until the garlic becomes fragrant.
Return the pan to heat and add 2 tbsp honey, 2 tsp soy sauce, 1/2 lemon juiced and 1 tbsp water and mix to combine. Add 8 oz salmon filet/person and sear for 3 minutes, or until the salmon has turned a golden-brown color. Turn salmon to the second side and baste with the pan juices. Sauté until the second side has browned.
Add 2 lemon wedges to the pan remove from heat and serve with Roasted Lemon Garlic Broccoli
