Gather all ingredients before starting the recipe.
Preheat oven to 450℉
Combine 1 tbsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp kosher salt, and 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper. Season 4-5 whole chicken wings with mixture. Set wings on a wire rack placed over a baking sheet and transfer to a preheated oven.
Bake wings for 30 minutes, checking once or twice during the baking time. Flip wings over after 15 minutes.
Mix 1/4 cup melted butter and 1/4 cup prepared Buffalo wing sauce and set aside until wings are cooked.
Toss cooked wings in sauce, pour extra sauce into a small dish and serve on the side.
