- Gather all the ingredients before starting the recipe. 
- Pre heat oven to 550°F or high as high as your oven will go. 
- Slice 7 oz brie cheese  into medium thick slices and cover each slice of baguette, you may need more than one slice of brie. 
- Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and place the bread slices on the foil. 
- Bake in the oven until the brie becomes bubbly and has melted, about 3-5 minutes. 
- Remove from oven, crumble chopped pecans or walnuts on the melted brie, sprinkle with fresh thyme and then drizzle honey on each slice. 
- Transfer slices to a platter and serve warm.
