I approached this Christmas Dinner for two with the same care and attention I would give to a dinner party for twelve. I found myself revisiting old menus, flipping through photos, and recalling the laughter and memories of past holiday gatherings. Even though the guest list was smaller, the spirit of celebration was just as grand.

The Menu…

In the end, I created a menu that felt both festive and perfectly suited to a cozy evening for two. The beauty of this menu is that it can be scaled for any number of guests, even just one, but there’s something special about tailoring it to an intimate dinner. With fewer plates to prepare, I had the freedom to try new recipes that were as visually stunning as they were delicious.

The Main Attraction…

At the heart of the menu was a tender filet of beef, a dish that feels indulgent yet approachable. It was complemented by a selection of festive bites, seasonal sides, bright flavors, and a touch of sparkle on the table. Together, they created a meal that celebrated not only the holiday but also the joy of sharing it with someone special. And while filet of beef makes for a luxurious centerpiece, this menu is easily adaptable, two perfectly seared medallions can deliver the same elegance on a smaller scale, or for a more budget‑friendly option, a whole grilled pork tenderloin offers wonderful flavor and presentation without the higher cost.

My Christmas Dinner for Two…

A Christmas dinner for two is about more than just the food, it’s about slowing down, savoring each course, and enjoying the warmth of the season in a more personal way. This menu captured that perfectly, offering tradition, flavor, and a touch of elegance in every bite.
