We have been friends for almost 40 years and I still wonder at what Josie can create and create for strangers, strangers who are lonely and in need of company. She is truly talented and imaginative and very giving.
She sent me photos of a couple of projects that she decided to undertake to ‘cheer’ the village care home residents, as they are known in the U.K. This is the latest and it was a collection of Easter bonnets that she had hand crafted. She is also studying the care of seniors with dementia in order to be able to access the dementia floors of the care homes that she regularly visits.
She also has a grand home with extensive gardens, which require the kind of care that a true gardener must provide. Never mind the Black Lab, soon to be two Black Labs, last I heard, who also need care and walking and playing.
I just had to post this wonderful creation, which I am sure, lifted the spirits of all who were lucky enough to have been gifted with such lovely presents, a hand crafted Easter bonnet and homemade chocolates!
Thank you for your care…
