Love Apple Soup is one of my all-time ‘go to’ soups, and also a favorite appetizer. I have served this soup at many, many dinner parties! Its name is intriguiging and there were always questions about what it was. Did you know that a love apple is really a tomato? No doubt it is a translation of the French term pomme d’amour from the belief in the tomato’s aphrodisiacal powers!
