Ingredients 

  • 3 pork chops, bone in
  • kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbps vegetable oil
  • 1 whole red onion peeled and thickly sliced
  • 2 whole apples cut into 8ths

Instructions

  • Prteheat oven to 450℉
  • Season 3 pork chops, bone in with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Mix 2 tbsp maple syrup and 1 tbps vegetable oil and baste the pork chops on both sides. Reserve remaining marinade.
  • Peel and slice 1 whole red onion and cut 2 whole apples into 8ths.
  • Place chops on aluminum foil lined sheet pan and place in the oven on a middle rack and roast for about 10 minutes.
  • Remove sheet pan, flip the pork chops and add the vegetables. Drizzle remaining marinade over the vegetables and season with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper. Toss to combine and return to the oven.
  • Roast for another 10-15 minutes, or until the vegetables start to turn golden around the edges and the chops are a golden brown.
