If you are completely stuck for what to make for dinner, this is a good pub/dinner combo. The pub part is the marinara sauce (store bought, along with the meat balls) to go with the meatballs on a stick and the dinner part is the peas and farro.
To control portion size, divided each meat ball into two (these were very generously sized) and put three of them on a wooden skewer. It just looks a bit better. Then I roasted them in a 375º oven for about 15-20 minutes. This is enough time to cook the meatballs and create a nice crust. Plus, you will lose a lot of the fat during the cooking.
I then tossed some frozen peas with some leftover farro and microwaved on high for 2-3 minutes.
It’s another dinner…
