What the eye can see and what the lens can see are two different things.

It is spring in Florida and all the flowering trees are in bloom. The trouble is if you get too close, you only get a photo of one bloom, if you stand away, you lose definition. I wish I were a drone, or wish I had a drone with a mounted camera.

The image here is from one of four Crimson Bottlebrush trees. The trees are beautiful.  At their full height they reach 14 feet, which is what I would guess these would be. These are grouped in a cluster on our golf course right behind the 8th green.

Beautiful up close and stunning at a distance. I just wish I could take the photo from a height so that I could get the best blooms closest to the sun.
