Cheesesteak Sliders are just the right sized bite for lunch. Perfect made with shaved ribeye steak, lots of ooey gooey cheese and sweet caramelized onions. What a yummy bite!

Ingredients 

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 12 oz shaved ribeye steak
  • 1 medium sweet onion peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 slider buns

Garnish & Toppings

  • ketchup
  • fresh sliced tomatoes
  • pickled sliced banana peppers
  • pickled hot red cherry peppers

Instructions

Gather all instructions before starting recipe.

  • Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil over medium high heat in a medium sized skillet. When the oil is hot, 1-2 minutes, add1 medium sweet onion, thinly sliced and cook until the onions start to caramelize, about 5-6 minutes.
  • Add 12 oz shaved ribeye steak to the onions and stir to combine the beef with the onions. Season with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • Continue to stir until the beef loses its pink color.
  • Spread 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese over the beef and onions, cover with a lid and cook until the cheese melts. About 2-3 minutes.
  • Cut 3 slider buns in half and mound the beef, onions and mixed cheese on the bottom of each bun. Top with your choice of topping.
