This salad is a fun version of the All American Wedge Salad.  I just threaded a skewer through the lettuce and then added some crunchy bacon and a tomato. I finished it with a drizzle of blue cheese dressing and served it as a simple and light side dish next to a juicy steak!

Tips
Fold the bacon strips in three and thread on a toothpick before the bacon cools. This will prevent the bacon from shattering when you add it to your skewer with the lettuce and tomato.

  • 1/2 head iceberg lettuce cut into 2 inch thick slices
  • 4 whole cherry or grape tomatoes
  • 4 slices thick cut bacon fried
  • 4 tbspn blue cheese dressing
  • 4 tbspn crumbled blue cheese

Instructions
  1. Gather all ingredients before starting recipe.
  2. Cut 2" slices from a half of a head of ice berg lettuce and skewer them on a sandwich pick.
  3. Drain bacon and fold into 3's and add to the skewered lettuce
  4. Add a tomato to the tip of the skewer,
  5. Drizzle with blue cheese dressing and top with crumbled blue cheese.
