I have used this Delicious Asian Sauce with Chinese inspired dishes, but I have also used it with pan fried shrimp, chicken and vegetables, roasted cauliflower, grilled pork and grilled salmon. It is easy to make and I have served it both cold or have combined with a bit of cornstarch as a sauce with a warmed dish.

Served cold, it is great as a dipping sauce, served warm and slightly thickened with corn starch, it is a tasty sauce for roasted vegetables, chicken, pork and shrimp.
Degree of Difficulty
2-3tbspnhoisin sauce or oyster sauce (Asian section of your grocery store)
2tbspnlight soy sauce
2tbspnseasoned rice wine vinegar
1tspntoasted sesame seed oil
1/2tspnAsian chili sauce
1wholelimezested and juiced
For Sauce Combined with Cooked, Seared, Grilled Recipes
1/4cupwater or chicken stock to blend with corn starch
Gather all ingredients before starting recipe

Mix all dipping sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Set aside until ready to serve.
