Browning Sauce is a sauce that is used to color other sauces which need a dark brown color and the ingredients used in the recipe will not create this rich color. It is often used in French cooking as it adds very little flavor and lots of color to a sauce. Be careful in the quantity used as it may add a bitter flavor with too much added to the recipe. It will keep in a covered sealed container in your refrigerator for several weeks.
