  • linguini or spaghetti for two cooked according to package directions
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 cloves grated garlic
  • kosher salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp finely grated parmesan cheese
  • 3-4 sprigs chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Gather all ingredients before starting the recipe.

  • Grate 2 tbsp finely grated parmesan cheese and set aside until ready to use.
  • Add 2 tbsp olive oil to a medium sized skillet over medium heat. Add 5 cloves grated garlic and stir to combine. Reduce heat to medium low and gently sauté until the garlic is soft about 10 minutes. Season with kosher salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Bring a medium sized sauce pan full of water to a boil. Add a good amount of kosher salt and then add enough linguini or spaghetti for two. Stir until the pasta is fully covered by water. Reduce heat to medium and cook until al dente, about 10 minutes.
  • When pasta is cooked, using kitchen tongs, transfer pasta from the sauce pan directly to the skillet with garlic and olive oil. Toss to combine.
  • Transfer pasta to serving bowls, top with grated parmesan cheese and sprinkle with 3-4 sprigs chopped fresh parsley
