If you watch any of the cooking channels, you will often hear someone say ‘I’ll just add an agradolce’.  What they are really saying is that they will make a sour and sweet sauce.  Agradolce means sweet and sour in Italian. I added a little hot sauce to my agradolce and created the perfect Cherry Agridolce to go with the pork tenderloin I was serving for dinner. But don’t limit yourself to serving agradolce with pork. It works well with any lean cut of meat that is pan seared.

Tips
Allow enough time for the agradolce to become syrupy. This can take up to 40 minutes if you simmer it over low heat.
