Part of preparing for the entertaining season each year was to decorate the house, inside and out, to greet our guests.

This included making a wreath, four feet in diameter, to hang on our front door. I have made many of these over the years but do not have many pictures of these creations.

I have this one as when I opened the door that day, I found a greeting card tucked in between the wreath greens. This was a thank you note from one of our guests from our dinner party the night before.

I do have the menu and this follows. In addition to the wreath, I also prepared all of the courses on the menu. We loved to entertain!
