  • 1 tbspn unsalted butter
  • 1 tbspn all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 pinch kosher salt

  1. Gather all ingredients before starting recipe.
  2. Melt butter in a medium sized sauce pan over medium heat.
  3. Add flour and stir to combine, cook for 2 -3 minutes.
  4. Slowly add 1 cup of milk and stir with a wire whisk until the sauce thickens and the sauce coats the back of a spoon, about 5-6 minutes.
  5. Add kosher salt to taste.
