Tip : Toast pine nuts for 5 minutes in a 375° F pre heated oven before serving

Ingredients 

  • 1 head red leaf lettuce or bib lettuce
  • 1/3 cup Raspberry Maple Dressing
  • 2/3 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 12 rings red onion rings
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 3 tbsp toasted pine nuts

Instructions

  • Gather all ingredients before starting recipe
  • Tear 1 head red leaf lettuce or bib lettuce into bite sized pieces in a large bowl, set aside.
  • Peel and slice 12 rings red onion rings, drizzle 1 tbsp red wine vinegar and set aside.

Serving

  • Toss lettuce leaves with 1/3 cup Raspberry Maple Dressing.
  • Place salad greens on plates and top with sliced onion, 2/3 cup crumbled blue cheese and 3 tbsp toasted pine nuts.
