Ingredients 

  • 12 whole baby potatoes 3 per person, boiled
  • 12 whole fresh green beans 3 per person
  • 1 clove garlic grated
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Gather all ingredients before starting the recipe.
  • Trim ends off green beans, place in a microwave safe dish, rinse under cold running water, cover with cling wrap and cook on high for 1 minute.
  • Drain, cool under cold running water to stop the cooking, then drain and set aside until ready to combine with potatoes.
  • Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add grated garlic and sauté over medium heat until the galic has become soft about 4-5 minutes. Do not brown.
  • Add cooked whole baby potatoes and cook until the potatoes are nicely golden on all sides. Add the green beans, toss with potatoes, butter and garlic until the green beans are heated through.
  • Serve on individual small plates as a side dish to the main course.
