Chicken Fricassée

The inspiration for this Chicken Fricassée comes from my sister-in-law. She was relating a story about a friend living in France and how, as a thank you gesture, her friend made a chicken and mushroom dish with crème fraiche for dinner one night. The dish was so delicious that it made a lasting impression, so much so, that it inspired me to make my version, and mine was also incredibly delicious.
