Our friend’s daughter Molly and her husband and their 4 month old baby son were visiting our friends for a week or so and I thought it would be a nice break for everyone to come and and visit us as well. And also, what a great excuse to get together with friends!

Just  ‘Drinks and Apps’ were on the menu. At my husband’s suggestion, we included a platter of Spiced and Seasoned Roasted Veggies, which set the tone for almost totally a vegetarian menu. What a success, it turns out that Molly’s husband is a vegetarian, as is another friend who attended, so quite by accident, the menu could not have been better!

The only nod to carnivores was the charcuterie board. A good time was had by all!
