I saw something on Guy’s Ranch Kitchen called a ‘Broschetta’, which was made with left over buns, I think hot dog buns, etc, so my version of the same kind of thing is called ‘Left Over Parm…’ it tasted great!

Ingredients 

  • 1 chicken breast previously cooked
  • 3 meat balls previously cooked
  • 3-4 tbsp red sauce
  • 3-4 tbsp grated mozzarella cheese
  • 3 hamburger buns

Instructions

  • Gather all ingredients before starting recipe
  • Pre heat oven to 375°
  • Slice 3 hamburger buns in half
  • Slice meat balls in half and top each bun with 3 pieces and top with a large dollop of red sauce
  • Top last bun with sliced left over chicken, top with red sauce
  • Place buns with tomato sauce and the tops of the buns on a sheet pan
  • Cover sheet pan with aluminum foil and place in a pre heated oven for 12 minutes
  • Remove sheet pan, uncover, mound each bun with tomato mixture with a generous amount of grated mozzarella cheese and turn the bun tops over. Place under broiler until the buns are nicely toasted and the cheese has melted and is bubbly
