My Delicious Asian Sauce just keeps popping up all over the place. I have used it with Roasted Cauliflower, pan fried shrimp, and now pan fried chicken and vegetables. I have also used it as a marinade or glaze with pan fried pork tenderloin and grilled salmon. It just keeps showing up. Try it, it is really easy and full of flavor.

Ingredients
  • 1 large boneless skinless chicken breast cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1/2 medium Green Bell Pepper cut into chunks
  • 1/2 medium red bell pepper cut into chunks
  • 4-5 whole green onions cut into 1" lengths
Marinade
  • 1 tbspn dry sherry
  • 1 tbspn light soy sauce
  • 2 tspn baking soda
  • 1 tspn cornstarch
Delicious Asian Sauce
  • 2-3 tbspn hoisin or oyster sauce (Asian section of grocery store)
  • 2 tbspn light soy sauce
  • 1 tbspn brown sugar
  • 2 tbspn seasoned rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tspn grated ginger
  • 1 clove garlic grated
  • 1 tspn roasted sesame seed oil
  • 1/2 tspn Asian chili sauce
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tsp corn starch mixed with chicken stock

Instructions
  1. Gather all ingredients before starting recipe.
  2. Add cut up chicken to a small mixing bowl and add all marinade ingredients.
  3. Stir to combine and leave at room temperature up to an hour before cooking.
  4. Cut peppers and green onions and set aside until ready to use.
  5. Heat oil in a small skillet over medium high heat until the oil shimmers. Add marinated chicken pieces and sauté until the chicken is nicely golden on both sides. About 4-5 minutes.
  6. Remove chicken to a plate, add a bit more oil to the skillet, and add peppers and onions. Toss to combine and sauté for about 4-5 minutes.
  7. Add the Delicious Asian Sauce to the pepper and onion mixture and add the chicken pieces.
  8. Reduce heat to medium and gently sauté for 8-10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
