Thanksgiving in Canada comes early. It’s always the second Monday in October, so it’s just around the corner.

As much as I would like to say that the US and Canadian Thanksgivings are the same, our Canadian Thanksgiving is more Canadian. Of course, both are family first and foremost, but Thanksgiving is so much bigger in the US! We spent many a Thanksgiving with family in San Diego, and it was always fun and as you would imagine, with lots of people, lots of food, lots of football and lots of silly games.

Suffice to say, we enjoy our Canadian version of Thanksgiving as well. In its honor, I have created this festive menu, all recipes from Inspired Cuisine, to whet your appetite and to help with some of the planning while getting ready for this special day.

Hope you enjoy, and have a Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!
